The Classic Car Enthusiasts in Europe Crave Ford Mustang Dream Becomes First

Based on a survey, the Ford Mustang was selected as the most desirable classic cars in Europe. Used car sales site AutoScout24 conducted this survey involving 75 046 European respondents.

AutoScout24 found that more than one of the three fans in Europe, (37 %) had a dream of the Ford Mustang. 20 % chose the legendary BMW M1, while the VW Beetle in third place with the acquisition of 11 % .

The cause of the pony car into the most desirable classic cars in Europe is unknown. Is it because the design is timeless Mustang, want to experience the American dream or just a desire for something that can not be owned.

Mustang largest fan base in Europe is in Austria where 42% of respondents chose the Ford muscle car artificial . The second biggest fan base is in Spain with 41 % of respondents.

In Germany alone 34% of the respondents chose the Mustang as a classic car of their dreams. This is a pretty impressive result considering the state has a wide variety of classic cars is no less exotic.

For comparison, the VW Beetle and the VW Bulli each got a score of 14 % in Germany. VW Bulli finished fifth overall in Europe under the classic MINI and Citroën 2CV.
